Sofia adjusted the scarf over her hair and chuckled. “You don’t have to come in if you don’t want to. But it is going to be much colder out here, I think.”
“We could be in front of a roaring fire right now, with egg nog and presents and stuff,” Julian sighed. “And my mistletoe boxers.”
“Hopeless,” Sofia murmured, climbing the steps. Julian followed, not unlike a puppy.
