“I don’t…” Victor cradled his head in his hands and shudders. “Something’s wrong, Josh.”
“Shh, you’ll wake Kevin up,” Josh whispered, caressing the back of Victor’s neck lightly. The green skinned boy shivered and raised his head, and Josh pressed a tender kiss to his mouth. Victor’s clawed hand clenched and unclenched as the pain behind his eyes finally faded. Something, he knew, was still wrong, but it was hard to remember that when Josh’s hands were caressing him, finding all the right spots to make him melt. He moaned softly, and Josh’s mouth swallowed it up, devouring everything.
They pulled apart, Josh’s hand still lingering against Victor’s stomach, as Kevin stirred restlessly. He rolled onto his side, pulling the covers with him, but never woke up.
