“I don’t like you,” Pietro said. “If I had my way, you’d be on the first space ship out of here.”

Dorrek took a long moment to remind himself that this was his lover’s uncle, and that hitting him (if he could catch him) would look bad to the Avengers, who were doing their best to keep him safe. Instead, he put the box of cereal down and reached for a bowl. “Many people do not like me. I am used to it.” He watched the speedster carefully. There was an air about the man, like a storm waiting to break.

“Morning Uncle Pietro,” Billy said, practically bouncing into the kitchen. “Jarvis have the morning off?” He moved past his uncle and smiled at Dorrek. “I feel like pancakes, and I’m pretty sure we’ve got the stuff to make them. You want some?”
