“Okay! I’m up in the air… now how do I get down?”

“Um…” Nate looked around for some kind of inspiration, and only found trees, the ground, and two bemused teenagers. “Good question,” he mumbled.

“What was that?” Billy demanded, sounding more than a little panicky.

“I’m thinking! Just stay calm.”

“Calm? Calm? You lousy—” Billy turned suddenly, flipping upside down and right into a bird’s nest. “Gaah!”

That was when Billy dropped like a stone.

“Gotchya!” Teddy was under Billy before the boy could hit the ground, and the two ended up in an embarrassed pile on the ground.

“We are the worst super-heroes ever,” Eli announced, not for the first time.
