Teddy looked at the bright pink salmon on top of the roll of rice and seaweed with deep suspicion. “You’re starting to sound like a mom, Billy. Anyway, fish is supposed to be cooked.”
“But then it loses most of its flavor,” Billy protested, dipping one of his rolls into a soy sauce and wasabi concoction, then popping it into his mouth with obvious relish. “This can’t be any worse than some of the stuff I’ve seen you eat. Anyway, it’s good for you.”
“I’ll eat it if you stop talking like a mom.”
