Author's Notes: Just a near-future set ficlet written in honor of Valentines Day.



Billy laughed softly as Teddy nuzzled the back of his neck and asked, “Romantic enough for you?”

The candles had burned down almost to the bases, leaving puddles of wax everywhere. The dinner was stone cold, and had, in fact, been partially eaten by the cat that Teddy had brought home one day and had since refused to leave. And the two of them were, to put it bluntly, dead tired.

“Next time I see the Wrecking Crew, remind me to give them a few extra kicks for this. I mean, who goes and does the super villain thing on Valentines Day?”

“Guys with no dates?” Teddy suggested.

Hee! Suddenly, I think that the Wrecking Crew planned this deliberately, to mess with the love-lives of whichever heroes ended up facing them.

The Boys are adorable, as always. This is the most important thing.

How funny is that. I love the easy way you have them banter/converse/relate/understand/etc... with each other. It's so easy to visualize your stories-Billy and Teddy (or alternate versions of them) come to life when you write them. I can never say enough good things about your writing. I enjoy your stories so very much. Thanks.
